The Tulane Career Center provides career education and information for undergraduate students at Tulane. We know the importance of career development in your college career and offer a range of opportunities to help make you more marketable in a competitive environment.
Visit the Career Center to help you develop a personalized plan for launching your career. Trained Career Coaches guide you step-by-step through the development process -- discovering your strengths through self-assessments, exploring industries and career profiles, creating strategies for finding interesting internships, writing resumes and job search communication, practicing for interviews, and connecting you with alumni and mentors in the industries you're most interested in.
The Senior Year Experience program pairs trained Career Coaches with seniors and second-semester juniors in the School of Liberal Arts and the School of Science and Engineering. Coaches partner with students to provide structure to the career planning process over a series of meetings during the student’s last three semesters at Tulane. All SYE coaches have extensive career coaching training which is rooted in current career development theories and incorporates elements of positive psychology. Students may apply to the SYE program anytime -- applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
