The Professional Football Negotiation Competition, run by the Tulane Sports Law Society, is a simulated contract negotiation using real life scenarios and actual upcoming NFL free agents. The competition will provide participants with the opportunity to sharpen their negotiation skills as well as their knowledge of actual NFL contracts. Similar to our highly successful Football Negotiation and Baseball Arbitration Competitions, this competition will be a simulated Free Agency negotiation of a real player and will use current CBA information.
Competitors will submit a written component before the negotiations and will be judged by prominent members of sports law and the NBA industry.
Full price includes admission to the 3-on-3 charity basketball tournament between competitors and judges on February 23, 2019.

Tulane’s Moot Court Board, with the help of the Sports Law Society and the Sports Lawyers Journal staff, hosts the annual Mardi Gras National Moot Court Competition, the only annual moot court competition in the country that focuses on contemporary legal problems confronting the sports industry.
