Come and learn some ways Canvas can help shape your learning outcomes and improve the teaching and learning experience for both you and your students.
Lunch is provided.

This workshop will help you measure and assess your impact in the scholarly community and beyond. Using tools such as InCites, Google Scholar, Publish or Perish, and Altmetric Bookmarklet we will explore the different ways to conduct a citation analysis, locate your h-index, and alternative metrics (twitter, blogs, social networking). Although this workshop is geared towards published scholars (formal publications or blogs), it is also useful for students looking to find collaborators, supervisors, or career opportunities.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Rebecca Fisher and Dr. Theresa Miller from the Department of Defense as they present at the Department of Defense Grants Workshop on Tuesday, March 19th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM in the Hutchinson Building, Medical School Auditorium. This will be a two part presentation featuring Dr. Fisher’s presentation “Department of Defense Programs and Funding Opportunities,” followed by Dr. Miller’s presentation “Grant Review, Pitfalls, and Tips in DoD Grant Application.”
