Based on the popular undergraduate course, this 5-week course in Mar/Apr is designed for graduate students interested in designing a career with social or environmental impact.
The FREE series is on Fridays from 12-2 PM on 03/06, 03/13, 03/20, 03/27, and 04/03 (at the Taylor Center, uptown, on the 4th floor of Howard Tilton Memorial Library). 

The Escher String Quartet, acclaimed for its profound musical insight and rare tonal beauty, received the BBC New Generation Artist award in 2010-12. Touring extensively, with recent debuts in Amsterdam, Berlin, Geneva, Tel Aviv and London, they appear in festivals worldwide and collaborate with classical artists as well as jazz and Latin musicians. The Quartet's expressive, nuanced performances combining textural clarity with a rich, blended sound have brought acclaim in the UK, Europe, China, and in the US where they were awarded the prestigious 2013 Avery Fisher Career Grant.

Thomas H. Lee is President at Lee Equity Partners. Prior to forming Lee Equity, Mr. Lee served as Chairman and CEO of Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THLP”) and its predecessors, which he founded in 1974.  Over the past 36 years, Mr. Lee has been responsible for investing in excess of $10 billion of capital in more than 100 transactions.  Prior to founding THLP, Mr. Lee was with the First National Bank of Boston, where he was a Vice President and led the high technology lending group. Previously, Mr. Lee was a securities analyst in the institutional research department of L.F.

The One Health Club in partnership with Swampy Science will be hosting a brief talk from Bruno Ghersi, a veterinarian and current PhD student in the Tulane Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Bruno will talk about One Health, his research, and unique applications of One Health to New Orleans.
