The Senior Year Experience program pairs our career coaches with our liberal arts and science, and engineering undergraduate students during their last semester or last academic year at Tulane. Together, we create a career planning process to prepare your marketing yourself as a potential new hire to employers.
What SYE Career Coaches Cover
SYE Coaches guide students through the career development process by:
- Exploring decisions related to majors, professional experiences, and potential career paths
- Developing job search documents and other application materials
- Practicing and refining interview skills by examining classroom and non-classroom experiences and communicating them to target audiences
- Establishing connections to a broad network of job opportunities and potential employers
- Identifying and networking with professionals in areas of interest
- Co-creating actions to overcome any obstacles encountered throughout the job search process
