Home / Tulane University joins forces with Forté to help women college students become “career ready.”
Tulane University recently made a bold move to give undergraduate women a head start on their careers: Joining 45+ other top schools in partnership with Forté’s Career Accelerator Program. As a Career Ready Certificate partner, Tulane will offer undergraduate women of all majors the opportunity to develop new skills in five critical areas—career exploration, personal branding, job searching, networking, and professional values.
Through this new partnership, Tulane students can participate in the Career Ready Program for free. Once a student signs up, she has access to a self-directed, interactive curriculum. As she completes activities and progresses toward the Career Ready certificate, she’ll earn points that can be used for career-boosting benefits such as résumé reviews and one-on-one consultations. An online community offers discussions, mentorship, personal branding tips, and much more.
Completion of the program and receipt of the Forté Career Ready Certificate signals to employers that these motivated women have the skills necessary to succeed in a business environment.
“We are thrilled to expand our already outstanding group of undergraduate partners with the addition of Tulane University. The goal of the Career Accelerator program is to help women prepare for a career, and it does that in a fun way. While they are learning, participants also network and make friends with college women from other universities who are also building career skills,” says Elissa Sangster, CEO of Forté.
Students who are interested will register with Forté using their Tulane email.
