Stefani Greenfield

Stefani Greenfield co-founded the internationally acclaimed SCOOP NYC stores and is credited for pioneering a new way for consumers to shop at retail with her trailblazing merchandising concept –“The Ultimate Closet”. After selling SCOOP in 2008, Greenfield created and still

currently hosts the first ever fashion/lifestyle show on HSN –“Curations Caravan”. Greenfield was a judge on Bravo’s “Launch My Line”, appeared in a monthly segment, “Fashion Roadmap” on TODAY and hosted “Unracked with Gilt Groupe”, an innovative web series of interviews with fashion luminaries and legends. Greenfield served as the Chief Creative Officer of The Jones Group for 2 years, leading design, merchandising and marketing of their portfolio of brands. In 2013 she founded MY NEXT ACT, a global consulting agency focused on the creation, ideation and “storytelling” of brands. With Project Runway creator Desiree Gruber, Greenfield launched the accessory brand Theodora & Callum. Greenfield was the Creative Brand Director on the E! docu-series “House of DVF”. Greenfield is a Co-founder of Love Heals –The Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education and a Board Member of GOOD+ Foundation and ACRIA.

 

Rick Rizzo

Former CEO, Fleet Laboratories

From early 2015 to 2017, Rick Rizzo was CEO of Fleet Laboratories, a private equity owned company competing in the Consumer Healthcare market. Following a period of significant revenue and profit growth, the company was sold to Prestige Brands in January 2017.Rizzo graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Boston College.Since the sale of Fleet Laboratories in 2017, he has focused the majority of his time supporting a wide range of non-profit organizations, while also remaining active in advisory support and board participation in Private Equity. Heand his wife reside in New Orleans and Montclair, NJ.

 

Peter B. Luther

Former President & CEO, Atrium Innovations

Peter is a senior executive with 30 years of proven leadership and a strong track record of delivering results. Peter has a diverse background in consumer-packaged goods, medical devices & diagnostics, nutritional supplements and OTC industries with global experience in both large corporation and smaller PE-backed company environments.Peter is currently a Strategic Advisor for Permira and serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Soccer Foundation and CeQur. Prior to these roles, Peter was President and Chief Executive Officer of Atrium Innovations, a globally recognized leader in nutritional supplements. Peter joined Atrium in mid-2014 after the company was taken private by Permira and led it through its successful acquisition by Nestlé in March 2018 for $2.3 billion, a strong 16x EBITDA and 4.3x investment return. Peter stayed on to transition the business to through the end of 2018.

 

Marianne Diorio

Former Senior Vice President, Global Brand Communications and Corporate Image at Estée Lauder

Marianne Diorio is a communications specialist and writer. She was recently Senior Vice President, Global Brand Communications, Corporate Image, The Estée Lauder Companies and has been in the beauty and fashion business for more than 30 years. After graduating from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, she joined Condé Nast in the Art Department of Vogue magazine. She then became the Fashion and Beauty Editor of Bride's magazine, a title which she held for five years. Her first foray into the cosmetics industry was as Director of Public Relations for Prescriptives in 1983 and she continued to work at The Estée Lauder Companies in varying responsibilities for 30 years until her recent retirement.

She took a few brief absences from the Company, one in 1999 to work as the Beauty and Style Director of Allure magazine. At The Estée Lauder Companies she held various positions including the Vice President of Global Communications for the Clinique and Estée Lauder brands. Marianne was ultimately promoted to oversee Global Communications for the full portfolio of brands including Estée Lauder, Clinique, Origins, M•A•C, Bobbi Brown, La Mer, Donna Karan, Aveda, Jo Malone London, Bumble and bumble, Darphin, Tom Ford, Smashbox and Editions des Parfums Frédéric Malle.

In her Estée Lauder Companies Corporate Image role, Marianne directed the editorial content, look, experience and presentation of the Company. This included oversight of the Corporate digital properties- elcompanies.com, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Marianne is married to still life photographer, James Wojcik and they have a daughter, Tiki, currently a student at Tulane University. They live in downtown NYC with their adorable dog, Chestnut.

 

Jack Sussman

(Tulane Parent), Executive Vice President, Specials, Music and Live Events, CBS

Jack Sussman was promoted to Executive Vice President, Specials, Music and Live Events, CBS Entertainment in March 2006.

In his position, Sussman, who has been head of CBS specials since 1998, serves as the Network’s chief liaison to the music industry, working with managers, recording artists, record labels and music suppliers to identify new and established performers whose music or personal appearances can be integrated into the Network’s primetime series, movies, specials and live events.

Sussman also works with CBS’ interactive division to identify music-related content for wireless and the Internet. Sussman oversees the Network’s blue chip events and specials, such as “The Grammy Awards,” “The Tony Awards” and “The Kennedy Center Honors,” as well as CBS’ annual presentations of the “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show,” “Academy of Country Music Awards” and “A Home for the Holidays.” In addition to specials and music, Sussman remains CBS’ executive in charge of live event entertainment programming, such as “Survivor” finales and reunion specials.

 

Larry Schloss, Tulane Alumni, Former President of Angelo, Gordon & Co

Larry is a Wall Street veteran with over 40 years of experience, including positions as President of Angelo, Gordon & Co – a $26B alternative investment manager, Deputy Comptroller and Chief Investment Officer of $150 Billion New York City Retirement Systems, Global Head of Credit Suisse First Boston Private Equity, and Chairman of DLJ Merchant Banking.

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Tulane University, Vice Chairman of the New York Police & Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund, Girls Who Invest and until early 2014, a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Investors Advisory Committee on Financial Markets. Larry has also served on numerous boards of directors of public and private companies.

An iconoclast known for his creativity, perseverance, judgment and balanced disposition, Larry has distinguished himself in both the private and public sectors, while at the same time holding fast to his belief that the road less traveled is more interesting in business and in life. Larry has trekked in the Himalayas, Alps and Patagonia, and has been married to his Newcomb sweetheart, Laurie Schloss (NC ‘77), for almost 40 years.

 

David Moore (Tulane Parent), Co-founder and CFO for MidCap Financial

Mr. Moore is a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of MidCap Financial, where he is responsible for all finance, accounting, and treasury activities. MidCap is a middle market-focused specialty finance firm that provides senior debt solutions to companies across all industries. MidCap specializes in $10 million to $200 million loans and has $10.9 billion in assets under management as of 11/30/16. The company is headquartered in Bethesda, MD, with offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta and focuses in five areas:

  • Asset-Based working capital loans to manufacturing, distribution, retail, and services companies collateralized by third-party accounts receivable, inventory, and other assets;
  • Leveraged loans to middle market companies backed by private equity sponsors;
  • Life Sciences loans to VC-backed and public companies in product development or early commercialization;
  • Real Estate loans to all core asset classes, including multifamily, office, retail, senior housing, industrial, skilled nursing, hotel, self-storage, and other income-producing properties;
  • Lender Finance loans made to senior lenders in various industries secured by their underlying collateral loans.

Before co-founding MidCap in 2008, Mr. Moore created and ran for five years as Managing Director/Segment Leader, Merrill Lynch Capital Healthcare Finance’s nationally focused asset-based lending business, generating and closing 127 transactions totaling $2.11 billion in new business volume. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Moore was Senior Vice President/Segment Leader at GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services, where he was responsible for managing national Core Asset-Based Lending activities. GE’s asset-based portfolio comprised approximately $1 billion in fundings to approximately 200 clients.

Prior to this assignment, Mr. Moore managed all portfolio activities for GE Healthcare Financial Services and its predecessors, overseeing a $3.1 billion portfolio of cash flow, real estate, and asset-based loans. Before entering the specialty finance industry in 1999, Mr. Moore spent 11 years in commercial banking with Crestar Bank, Citibank (both in Washington, DC), and First Bank and Trust of New Orleans, where he was President and CEO for three years.

Mr. Moore holds a B.S. in Management from Tulane University and an M.B.A. from Loyola University. He is married to a fellow Tulane graduate, lives in Chevy Chase Maryland, and has three children, the oldest of whom is currently a student at Tulane. Mr. Moore also serves on the board of directors of The Youth Leadership Foundation.

 

Curtis Colden, Emmy Award Winning Producer & Writer (The Amazing Race, Big Brother, The Celebrity Apprentice)

Curtis Colden is an Emmy Award winning producer and writer of documentary and competition reality shows. He received a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on The Amazing Race (CBS), as well as a Prism Award as a producer on The Celebrity Apprentice (NBC). For nine straight seasons, he has run the Live Eviction show for Big Brother (CBS).

His other producing credits include: The Biggest Loser (NBC), Rock Star: INXS (CBS), The Island (CBS), Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls (NBC), and recently American Grit hosted by John Cena, and the newly revamped Celebrity Apprentice starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Richard Rudolph, CEO and Founder, Rudolph Productions

Richard Rudolph fell into the music industry as a songwriter at Chicago’s legendary Chess Records. His first recording was the title song for Minnie Riperton’s debut solo album “Come To My Garden.” This began a multi-song collaboration with Charles Stepney, the renowned producer of Earth, Wind and Fire fame. In the years since, Rudolph’s career has transected many facets of the recording industry. He has been a successful songwriter, performing artist, record producer, music consultant, film music soundtrack supervisor, record label executive and music publisher. All in all, his various contributions have accounted for worldwide sales in excess of 30 million albums and countless song placements in film, television and commercials.

Rudolph’s career as a record producer began when he and Stevie Wonder collaborated to produce Minnie Riperton’s million selling album, “Perfect Angel.” Included in this album was the song, “Lovin’ You,” written by Richard Rudolph & Minnie Riperton, which went on to become a #1 song around the world and has turned out to be one of the most performed songs of all time. Some of his many production and writing credits include songs and recordings by Minnie Riperton, Stevie Wonder, Teena Marie, Tribe Called Quest, The Manhattan Transfer, J Cole, Lauryn Hill, Michael McDonald, Jermaine Jackson, The New Edition, Shanice Wilson, Michael Sembello, The Rotary Connection, The Temptations, Julian Lennon, Patti Austin, Timothy Schmidt of The Eagles, Chaka Khan, Lara Fabian, Nuyorican Soul, Kimiko Kasai, Dawn Robinson of En Vogue, Tupac Shakur and many others.

Along the way, Richard Rudolph’s creativity and experience with music led him into the film industry, as well. Besides contributing songs and music supervising several feature films such as Cocoon, Running Scared, Black Rain, Flatliners, Weekend At Bernie’s, Virtuosity, The Black Dahlia and Duets, he has also overseen films for cable, mini series and movies made for television, the latest one being The Whitney Houston Story as Executive Music Producer. Rudolph also served as the exclusive music consultant to HBO Pictures and was President of Third Stone/Atlantic Records, a company which he founded with partner (actor/producer) Michael Douglas. Rudolph currently runs Rudolph Productions and for 10 years co-currently served as Chief Creative Executive for Music Sales West, a worldwide publishing company for which he still consults, with over 250,000 copyrights and offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Copenhagen, Tokyo and Sydney. He continues to write and record songs and develop music driven projects for film, television and new media. He has written over 500 songs in his career and has no intention of stopping anytime soon.
